Summit of Denali

This is the mountain that I plan to climb once the trilogy of sufficient finance, fitness and free time co-occur.

Mountains by height (Elevation in meters)

The elevation of a mountain is the height from sea level to the summit. The prominence of the mountain is the part of the mountain that rises above the surrounding area. This list itemizes elevation. The ones at the bottom of the list are those that I have climbed; the ones at the top are those that I dream of climbing.

"A guide was leading a group of people on a hike through some mountains. He pointed at a fairly majestic looking peak and said "This one is most popular with mountain climbers. Most days you have a few teams doing a climb. The ascent, depending on your skill level can take between two and five hours. The descent, again depending on your skill level, takes anywhere between 4 hours and 30 seconds." - anonymous
