AAcademic, technical and professional writing. I am particularly interested in academic literacy, the production of texts, statistical analysis of texts and the use of educational technology to help writers produce texts. My current research draws on corpus linguistics to analyze texts and computational linguistics to create rule-based and probabilistic-based pattern-searching tools or pipelines.
